Not about to lay anything with this Blue Bomber squad who have looked brutally ugly thus far. Winnipeg QB, Khari Jones has looked more like Barnaby Jones. Teams have been moving the ball with ease against this atrocious defense and we see no end in sight. Saskatchewan went into B.C last week as 8 point dogs and crushed the Lions to the tune of 42-29. For Saskatchewan, Nealon Greene is out and third string QB, Rocky Butler, was benched in favor of Henry Burris. Burris returned last week from a sprained ankle to light up the B.C. Lions for 338 yards and four touchdown passes. Burris is a veteran play caller who has experience in both the NFL and NFL Europe and his presence really ignited this visitor who started the year 0-2. Winnipeg’s defense, or lack thereof, features nine new players and already, they’ve allowed 69 points in the teams first two games. Ouch. They have yet to record a single sack.
